EDUCATION & TRAINING:
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). I earned my Master of Science
in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL and a Bachelor of Science in
Literature, Media and Communication from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA.

COUNSELING APPROACH:
Therapy is a collaborative effort. Through meaningful and direct conversation, we will work
through the process of growth and change that works best for you. Dialogue is not the sole
intervention. Change is also about action. I will help you to learn new skills to assist in your
interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, as well as improve your tolerance for distress. I
view therapy as a chance to try and do. Change can be scary, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be
fun. I encourage clients to incorporate their interests in the treatment plan. This can include
sports/exercise, video/board games or TTRPG, cooking and baking, digital and visual arts, etc. A client’s unique strengths, characteristics, and interests can provide a more meaningful therapeutic journey. This is your journey, but you do not have to take the first step alone. I am here to help!
I work with adolescents (14+), young adults, and adults struggling with a broad range of mental health issues. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help address and redefine the negative, faulty, or irrational thoughts and self-talk messages through goal-oriented outcomes and use of personal strengths/qualities/characteristics.
